    Join Nikki Fitzgerald for this slow flow Hatha Yoga class that focuses on safe, accessible yoga for all ages and stages of life. Nikki brings a wealth of knowledge from her many teacher trainings with over 15 years teaching experience. This is a relaxed, interactive friendly class that welcomes beginners up to experienced.

    PANZ – Pastel Artists

    Tuesdays 9am-Noon Feb-Nov. For artist of all levels who enjoy using pastel as a painting medium. Friendly social enviroment where we share ideas, techniques and tips. $4 per session. Visitors always welcome.

    Thursdays 7.30pm 

    Māpua Community Choir is an all-comers S.A.T.B. choir, with no audition to join. Whilst the ability to read music is helpful, it is not essential. The choice of music is broad from folk songs to modern pop songs. John Botting, the music director, has lots of experience taking community choirs and shares his wealth of music knowledge in a passionate and fun atmosphere.

    PechaKucha at Mapua Hall

    PechaKucha Night, now in over 1,000 cities, was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. Join us as we hear snippets from a variety of our very own local talent right here in Māpua.

    The Packhouse Cinema screening a selection of hand picked films every third Sunday at 6.30pm during winter, from April through to November.

    We have an array of spaces available to hire for regular activities or one-off events. Spaces available separately or combined whole facility for large functions.

    • Private Meeting room : With meeting table & seating for 6-10 people and 900mm x 1200mm whiteboard.

    • Bill Marris Hall : Capacity of 65 people approx. 9m x 8m

    • Main Hall : Capacity of 240 people approx. 24m x 11m

    • Commercial fully equipped kitchen : Commercial gas cook top, oven, fridge Includes crockery & cutlery for serving up to 140 guests.

    • Audio & Visual equipment : With a digital projector, 200” projector screen, two 75” monitors, eight ceiling speakers & headset microphones, all with easy connectivity from your own device.

    • Tables & Chairs : Four large tables 2400×800, nineteen medium tables 1800×800 & four small tables 1200×800. 165 event chairs all included with all venue hire.

    • Kitchenette : Microwave, bar fridge, water kettle, tea & coffee mugs included with all venue hire.

    • Wi-Fi available throughout

    Once you’ve decided to book, please email us your requirements. When your details and booking have been confirmed, you will be contacted with options relating to bond/key allocation/access (depending on the type of booking).
